The company has been a leader in the luxury sector for over 90 years and is an icon of made in Italy
With a large retail project, the company is going through a continuous phase of growth, with the aim of being present in all markets
Need
The company needed to adopt a Project Management tool that would allow it to manage the entire project, as well as to control the Demand phase in a precise and timely manner.

Following further analyzes, the need emerged to have a complete overview of the operational activities of the project and their status during the life cycle of the same, as well as to define new roles and related tools within the company organization chart.
Solution
Definition of the methodological implementation of the governance mechanisms of the project; later, the most suitable technical solution for the customer's internal structure was identified: Microsoft Project Online.
Subsequently, the following macro objectives were defined for the realization of the WorkFlow:
  • improve the effectiveness of the delegation and escalation mechanism between Project Assurance and the Executive Committee, in order to codify a standard Workflow shared also by the external Project Manager (figures identified during the preliminary analysis);
  • introduce weekly and monthly report templates;
  • Issue Report template
Achieved Results
Creation of a Workflow that supports the entire process of the following phases
  • Demand Creation
  • Demand Analysis
  • Project Execution
  • Project Closure
As regards the need to establish new roles within the company, a Governance model has been defined organized on 3 different levels of responsibility:
  • Project Manager, to manage the Planning and Control flow;
  • Project Assurance, to monitor Management Flow;
  • Executive Committee, to manage the order of the project, the related budget and the approval for implementation
