The customer is a leader in the air sector and also operates in the world of freight transport
Need
The ICT area decided to equip itself with a project management tool that would allow tracking the collection of demand directly from the business.
Solution
Identification of Microsoft Project Online as a tool suited to customer needs.

Therefore, 3 WFs have been developed using the SharePoint Designer and the three flows represent the 3 processes already defined:
  • Major Project
  • Fast Activities
  • Minor Project
The entire approval flow was carried out using Sharepoint tasks addressed directly to the project stakeholders, who can cast their vote directly using apps on smartphones (as well as traditional access via PC).
Achieved Results
All business projects, with an impact on ICT, have been mapped in the Project Online platform and all approvals come from the defined WF.

The data has been consolidated on BI, the only tool that the Top Management currently uses to check the status of the projects
